SKOCENTRUM – BRUNNER HAS A WIDE RANGE OF SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
Skocentrum is a family-owned business with a history dating back to 1890. For generations, the family has worked in shoe manufacturing, as well as sales of shoes. Today they sell a carefully selected range of shoes for women, men, and children in their two stores in Umeå.
Fredrik Nilsson, who belongs to the fourth generation of Nilssons’, is currently the CEO and owner of Skocentrum’s stores. The company started as a shoemaker’s shop and developed into a large shoe factory. When the factory was closed, Skocentrum opened its first store in Umeå, where they’ve now been operating for 70 years.
Skocentrum and Brunner also have a long history of cooperation, a whole decade to be exact. As Skocentrum’s main supplier of shoe accessories, they provide accessories for all types of shoes and all types of materials.
– Shoe accessories are an important part of our sales. We want to offer our customers great accessories that suit their choice of shoes, Fredrik says and continues:
– Brunner offers a wide range of products, and we buy all our accessories through them. We also work with automatic replenishment, so the stock is automatically replenished when there are low levels in the store. It’s smooth and efficient!
Skocentrum and Brunner have a close dialogue, which Fredrik emphasizes that he appreciates. At regular intervals, Mathias from Brunner also comes by to educate the staff about new products.
– The cooperation works well! They are easy to work with and if any problems arise, it is easy to contact them for a solution. We have a good dialogue, especially with our contact person Mathias, says Fredrik and continues:
– Brunner is a well-rounded company. They have broad expertise and are knowledgeable. That really is a strength!
